Alycia Calvert is an emerging writer living in upstate New York. She is working on her English PhD at Binghamton University. She completed her Mfa Thesis in Creative Writing from UNLV in August of 2023. 

 

Her writing can be found in The Hunger Journal, the Boulder City Review, the late Hecate and elsewhere. She graduated in August with an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Currently she is working on finishing her first collection of flash fiction, and has begun a PhD in Fiction at Binghamton.

Her writing explores the boundaries between the natural and artificial, seeks to reconnect the severed tissues of humanity, and the lived experience. She strives to exist as an artist as part of an organic literary movement which both feeds and consumes in its desire to change.
