MFA THESIS
My thesis deals with elements of gender, womanhood, visibility, memory, neuro-divergence, and the ways in which the natural world breaks through the modern sterility of nuclear family life. My characters engage in environments and are shaped by them, most often in compulsory ways. I am most drawn to this program because it emphasizes the importance of the theoretical in the act of creation.
